Dial Indicator Stand with Adjustable Arm
A stand is an essential accessory for a dial indicator, because the gauge on its own cannot measure anything without a solid support. The holder with an adjustable arm lets you bring the contact point exactly to the spot being checked and then lock the whole assembly so that it does not move during measurement.
The arm joints are released and tightened with a single control, so you can change the gauge position quickly even while working on a lathe or milling machine or when checking brake disc runout. The greater dead weight gives the assembly stability and dampens vibrations that would otherwise distort the reading.
