MIG/MAG Contact Tip 1.6mm MB401, MB501
The contact tip with a diameter of 1.6 mm is a replacement part for MIG/MAG welding torches. It transfers the welding current to the wire right before the arc while also guiding the wire, so the arc's stability and smooth, snag-free wire feed depend directly on its condition.
The tip is made to the Binzel standard, so it fits MB401 and MB501 torches as well as common Binzel, Trafimet, Sherman or Magnum torches. It is a typical consumable part that gradually heats up and widens at the bore, so it pays to keep a few spares in stock and replace them as soon as welding loses its stability.
