Welding Filter 80x100mm E-9
The welding filter measuring 80 x 100 mm is a replacement dark glass for welding helmets and protective shields. Shade E-9 reliably dampens the intense light of the electric arc while also blocking the ultraviolet and infrared radiation that puts the most strain on the eyes and facial skin during welding.
The filter is a consumable part that gradually becomes covered in spatter, scratched or cracked over time, at which point it stops protecting as it should. You slide the replacement glass into the helmet frame in a few seconds without tools, so you return to welding practically at once and with full eye protection.
