Ring cake tin diameter 17cm
The ring cake tin with a diameter of 17 cm is intended for yeast, creamed and sponge ring cakes, which hold their shape after turning out and can be cut into nice portions. The smaller diameter suits a smaller household as well as a ring cake for Sunday coffee.
The tin is made of baking sheet metal, which conducts heat well, so the dough bakes evenly along the whole perimeter. Before pouring in the dough, grease the tin and dust it with flour or fine breadcrumbs; let the baked ring cake rest for a few minutes and only then turn it out onto a rack.
