The cake tin with a diameter of 24 cm and a removable rim belongs to the basic equipment of everyone who bakes sponge bases, cheesecakes and fruit cakes. After baking it is enough to release the clip on the side, take the ring off and the base stays on the bottom of the tin without turning over and breaking.
The inner surface is protected by a non-stick layer, so the dough does not cling to the walls and you wash the tin in a few moments. The textured metal conducts heat more evenly and resists deformation better during repeated baking. The black surface absorbs the heat of the oven well, thanks to which the base bakes through even in the middle.
