Children's weighted blanket 100x150cm 4kg
A weighted blanket works on the principle of stabilising pressure – the even weight of four kilograms acts on the body like a hug, which calms the nervous system and helps you fall asleep faster. It is used with children who toss and turn for a long time or who are wide awake before bedtime.
The filling consists of glass microbeads, which are hypoallergenic and, unlike plastic granules, do not rustle with every movement. The seven-layer construction with square quilting ensures that the filling does not shift to one side during the night and the weight stays evenly distributed. The edges are hemmed and there are loops on the sides as well as in the corners for fastening it into a duvet cover. The blanket also suits children with ADHD, autism or sensory hypersensitivity. It is machine washable at 30 °C on a delicate cycle.
