Butt Connector, insulated yellow, heat-shrinkable 4-6mm² (100 pcs) KNIPEX
The insulated butt connectors with yellow heat-shrinkable insulation are designed for permanently joining two conductors with a cross-section of 4 – 6 mm² (AWG 12 – 10). The conductors are inserted from both sides and crimped, so the connection does not need to be soldered. After crimping, the insulation is heated, shrinks and fits tightly around the conductor. The pack contains 100 pieces and is sold as a whole.
The inner part of the connector is made of copper with a tin-plated surface, which protects against corrosion and ensures good electrical contact. The yellow insulation colour makes it easy to quickly distinguish connectors by cross-section. For crimping, use crimping pliers for insulated connectors, and a hot air gun for shrinking.
