Butt Connector, non-insulated 1.5-2.5mm² (200 pcs) KNIPEX
The non-insulated butt connectors are used for permanently extending or joining two conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 – 2.5 mm² (AWG 16 – 14). Each conductor is inserted into one side of the connector and crimped, so the connection does not need to be soldered. The pack contains 200 pieces and is sold as a whole.
The connectors are made of copper with a tin-plated surface, which protects against corrosion and ensures good electrical contact. As they have no insulation, the connection point should be additionally insulated, for example with heat-shrink tubing. For crimping, use crimping pliers designed for non-insulated connectors.
