Car Battery Charger with Start 12/24V 55A
The charger with a start function is intended for charging and maintaining lead-acid batteries with a voltage of 12 and 24 V. It also allows support of engine starting and the powering of direct current appliances straight from the device. The device handles batteries with a capacity from 50 to 800 Ah and is equipped with automatic voltage detection. The charging current reaches 55 A and the starting current up to 500 A.
The system of protections guards against reverse polarity, overload, overheating, short circuit and overvoltage, so operation is safe even during longer charging. Cooling is taken care of by a temperature-controlled fan, which starts up as needed and thus keeps the noise down. The digital display allows the battery voltage to be monitored and three control buttons serve for starting and pausing the charging, selecting the battery type and the start function. The rotary control allows the intensity of the charging current to be set precisely, and cables with clamps are included in the package.
