Carbon Brushes for Power Tools 5x16x20mm 2pcs
Flat carbon brushes with a 5 x 16 mm cross-section and a height of 20 mm are used in tools where the manufacturer chose a wider and thinner brush shape for better heat dissipation. Therefore, check the size against the old brush before ordering, because substituting a narrower type results in poorer seating on the commutator.
The two-piece pack covers a complete replacement in one motor. Timely replacement extends the life of the rotor, because a worn brush scores the commutator and the repair is then considerably more expensive than the carbon brushes themselves.
