Cast iron enamelled cauldron 8l with a lid and legs
A cast iron cauldron with a capacity of 8 litres is a tool for cooking over a fire with which food does not burn the way it does in a thin pot. Cast iron holds and evenly transfers heat, so goulash, bigos, lecho, beans or pea soup cook evenly across the whole surface.
The interior of the cauldron and of the lid is enamelled, which is a great advantage compared with bare cast iron – you do not have to burn it out and season it after every use, ordinary washing is enough, and a brush for that is included in the set. Three unscrewable legs ensure a stable stance directly in the fire pit and once unscrewed the cauldron is easier to transport and store. The upper clamp with clips makes it possible to carry the cauldron or hang it over the fire on a hook. A capacity of 8 litres will cook lunch for the whole company at once.
