Cast iron casserole with lid 26cm 5l
This cast iron casserole with a lid, a diameter of 26 cm and a capacity of approximately 5 litres is a universal helper for slow roasting, braising and boiling. Cast iron distributes heat evenly and holds it for a long time, thanks to which stews, sauces and roast meat come out perfectly tender and juicy. The casserole with arched handles can be used over an open fire, on gas and electric hobs, in the oven, on embers and in a masonry oven.Before first use, remove the protective vegetable oil – wash the casserole in hot water with a neutral detergent, dry it thoroughly, rub it with lard or bacon and heat it up properly. After each use, wash it with warm soapy water, dry it and rub it with fat to prevent corrosion. Use oven gloves when handling it.
