Cast iron traditional Chinese wok with wooden lid 36.5cm
This traditional Chinese wok made of solid cast iron with a diameter of 36.5 cm brings authentic preparation of Asian dishes as well as proper cooking over a fire. Cast iron accumulates and distributes heat evenly and excellently, so it is ideal for fierce stir-frying of meat, vegetables and noodles. The set includes a wooden lid 35 cm in diameter, which keeps both heat and moisture in the food.You can use the wok over an open fire, on a gas hob, in the oven, on embers and in a stove – use an oven glove. Before first use remove the protective oil by washing it in hot water with detergent, dry the wok, rub it with fat and heat it thoroughly. After every use wash it, dry it and coat it with fat to protect it against corrosion.
