Giant cast iron wok 50.5cm
The giant cast iron wok with a diameter of 50 cm is made for cooking for a large family or a group of friends. The solid cast iron excels in great heat storage and even heat distribution, which makes the wok ideal for sautéing, frying and stewing larger amounts of ingredients at once. You can use it over an open fire, on a gas cooker, in the oven, over embers and in a masonry oven – do not forget kitchen gloves when handling it.Before first use, remove the protective vegetable oil from the inner surface: wash the wok in hot water with a mild detergent, dry it thoroughly, wipe it with lard or bacon and heat it well. After each use, wash it with warm soapy water, dry it thoroughly and rub it with a thin layer of fat to prevent corrosion.
