Motor cover for building mixers
The motor cover is a spare part for Geko building mixers. It encloses the space with the electric motor and the drive, thereby protecting it against cement dust, splashing mortar and water – that is, precisely against what destroys a motor on a building site the fastest.
Its safety role is equally important: it prevents access to rotating parts and to the electrical installation during operation. If the original cover is cracked or corroded, it needs to be replaced, otherwise the life of the motor is considerably shortened. The part follows the shape of the original and is fixed at the original points, so the replacement is quick and does not require modifications to the frame.
