Diamond drilling core bit for tiles 110mm
The diamond drilling core bit with a diameter of 110 mm is intended for precise holes in hard and brittle materials where an ordinary drill bit fails or chips the material. The diameter of 110 mm corresponds to the typical opening for waste pipework, which is why plumbers and tilers use it when breaking through tiles or ceramic cladding.
The cutting edge is formed by a diamond coating with a high concentration of grit, which grinds the material away instead of splitting it and keeps the edge of the hole clean. The core bit works dry as well as with water cooling, with wet drilling extending its life and suppressing dust. The cylindrical shank is clamped in most common drills – the only important thing is not to exceed the maximum speed of 900 rpm.
