The metal decorating syringe for cakes turns a homemade cake into a festive gateau even without confectionery experience. The cream is filled into the body of the syringe and pressed out with the plunger in an even stroke, so the decorations have a clean shape even after longer work, when the hand is no longer so steady.
The metal body is sturdier than a plastic one and copes better with thick buttercream or whipped cream, which would otherwise have to be pressed out with great force.
