The diamond drill bit with a diameter of 8 mm is designed for drilling holes in porcelain stoneware, ceramic wall tiles and floor tiles — precisely for those situations when you need to hang a holder, a shelf or a mirror on a tiled wall and an ordinary masonry drill bit would break the tile. The 10 mm high diamond coating cuts hard material smoothly and without chipping the glaze.
The drill bit is filled with a special wax that carries heat away during work, so you can drill dry without water cooling. The hexagonal 1/4" HEX shank does not spin in the chuck or in a cordless screwdriver, the drilling depth is 36 mm and the maximum recommended speed is 1000 rpm. It will be appreciated by tilers, installers and home DIYers alike.
