Diamond Tile Drill Bit 6mm HEX
A diamond drill bit with a diameter of 6 mm is designed for precise drilling into porcelain stoneware, floor tiles, wall tiles and other hard ceramic materials, where an ordinary drill bit slips or splits the material. The diamond grit grinds the material away instead of chopping into it, so the hole comes out clean and without chips around the edge.
The inside of the bit is filled with a special wax that carries heat away during drilling — so it works dry and you do not have to deal with water cooling. The hexagonal HEX 1/4" shank holds firmly in the drill chuck and in a bit holder and does not spin. At the recommended speed of up to 1000 rpm, the diamond grit with a height of 10 mm lasts a really long time.
