Glass and Ceramic Drill Bit 10mm HEX
A drill bit with a diameter of 10 mm is designed for drilling into glass, ceramics, porcelain, porcelain stoneware and wall tiles — that is, into materials that are both hard and brittle, so that an ordinary metal drill bit would split them. Four cutting edges of sintered tungsten carbide gradually grind the material away instead of chopping into it.
The precise geometry of the tip reduces the risk of the glass cracking and the glaze chipping around the hole, so the result looks clean even without covering it with a rosette afterwards. The hexagonal HEX 1/4" shank sits in the drill chuck and in a bit holder and does not spin. You will use it when installing shelves, holders, hangers and bathroom accessories.
