Glass and Ceramic Drill Bit 3mm, HEX Shank
Drilling into tiles, glass or paving is a job where there is no going back — one crack and the material has to be replaced. The 3 mm drill bit has a precise geometry and four tungsten carbide cutting edges that gradually grind the material away instead of tearing it, so the risk of glass cracking and glaze chipping drops significantly.
Tungsten carbide is exceptionally hard and resistant to abrasion, so the bit lasts considerably longer than ordinary ceramic drill bits. The hexagonal 1/4" HEX shank fits into a drill chuck as well as into quick-release holders and does not spin. You will use it when installing shelves, hangers, holders and handles, equally in ceramic tiles, porcelain, porcelain stoneware, glass and stoneware.
