Extended metal drill bit 4x220mm HSS DIN1869 gold
The extended twist drill bit for metal with a diameter of 4 mm and an overall length of 220 mm reaches where standard drill bits cannot. You will use it when drilling deep holes, when working through two layers of material or in narrow spaces where the drill cannot be brought any closer.
The drill bit is made of HSS high-speed steel according to the DIN 1869 standard. The point ground at an angle of 130° centres itself reliably on the surface and reduces the risk of slipping at the start of drilling, while the precisely ground spiral carries away the chips even from a great depth. The gold surface finish reduces friction and slows down wear, so the drill bit lasts longer in steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals and plastics.
