The extended metal drill bit of HSS high-speed steel is built to satisfy home handymen and professionals alike. The longer construction to the DIN 1869 standard reaches where standard bits do not, and makes it possible to drill deep holes or work through an obstacle without dismantling the assembly.
The ground point with an angle of 130° centres precisely on the surface, so the bit does not wander off to the side when starting, even on harder material. The gold surface finish reduces friction and increases resistance to abrasion, thereby extending the tool's service life. It drills into steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals and plastics, and suits the workshop, locksmith's production and assembly work.
