Metal drill bit with carbide tip 6x75mm
The metal drill bit with a cemented carbide tip is designed for materials in which ordinary HSS bits quickly lose their edge. YG8 carbide with a hardness of 90 HRA keeps its cutting edge even in hardened steel or hard alloys and works steadily even at a higher temperature at the point of the cut.
The body of the bit is made of 40CR steel, which gives the tool the necessary rigidity and transmits torque without deformation. The diameter of 6 mm and the total length of 75 mm are suitable for precise holes in metal profiles, sheets and workshop components. Carbide is hard but brittle, which is why you should not use the bit in hammer mode.
