Metal drill bit with cemented carbide 10x105mm
The metal drill bit with a brazed cemented carbide tip is designed for where ordinary HSS drill bits are no longer sufficient. The carbide cutting edge copes even with harder and less machinable materials and at the right speed cuts smoothly without unnecessary heating.
The cutting part reaches a hardness of approximately 90 HRA, which corresponds to roughly 70 HRC, and therefore it wears significantly more slowly than ordinary high-speed steel. The body of the drill bit of 40CR steel provides the necessary strength and flexibility, so the bit is suitable for workshops, metalworking shops and also for maintenance staff who need to drill precisely and repeatedly.
