Metal drill bit with cemented carbide 8x90mm
The metal drill bit with a cemented carbide tip is designed for places where ordinary HSS bits are no longer enough. The cutting element of YG8 carbide has a hardness of 90 HRA, so it keeps its sharpness even when drilling very hard materials and resists abrasion as well as the high temperatures generated during the cut.
The body of the bit is made of 40CR steel, which gives the tool the necessary strength. When working, keep to the recommended speed of 1000 to 1500 per minute and work with steady pressure without hammer action, because carbide is hard but brittle and does not tolerate impacts. The bit will be appreciated by metalworkers, maintenance staff and workshops when drilling hardened and otherwise demanding materials.
