Step drill bit with a diameter of 4 – 20 mm made from high-quality high-speed steel HSS M2 with TiAlN coating. The drill bit is stepped every 2 mm with a cylindrical shank and well-readable step markings. It's designed for precise drilling in metal, thin-walled steel sheets, and plastics. M2 steel is a premium tungsten-molybdenum tool steel used for manufacturing cutting tools with high precision. It features excellent cutting properties – molybdenum enhances hardness, impact, and corrosion resistance, while tungsten increases wear resistance. Thanks to this, the drill bit maintains sharpness significantly longer than standard HSS drill bits. The TiAlN surface layer (titanium aluminum nitride) allows for effective drilling even in hard-to-machine materials, where the drill bit is exposed to high temperatures or limited cooling. This coating significantly extends the life of the drill bit and allows for higher cutting speeds. The drill bit is packed in packaging with a hanging hole, facilitating storage and handling.
