Step Drills HSS M2 (4-12, 4-20, 4-32mm)
Professional set of step drills manufactured from high-quality high-speed steel HSS M2. The set includes drills sized 4 – 20 mm and 4 – 32 mm, which are stepped every 2 mm, while the drill of size 4 – 12 mm is stepped every 1 mm. The drills are equipped with cylindrical shanks and an easily readable numerical scale. They are designed for working with metals, thin-walled steel sheets, and plastics. M2 steel is a high-quality tungsten-molybdenum tool steel used for the production of premium cutting tools. It features excellent cutting properties – high molybdenum content improves hardness, increases impact and corrosion resistance, while tungsten increases wear resistance. Because of this, the drills do not dull as quickly as cheaper alternatives made from ordinary high-speed steel. The drills are supplied in a robust aluminum case.
