Tvardy Extra-Long Gold Metal Drill Bit 6,5x275mm HSS DIN1869
The Tvardy extra-long metal drill bit with a diameter of 6,5 mm and an overall length of 275 mm reaches where a standard drill bit cannot — through two walls of a profile, into deep holes in castings or past an obstacle that you cannot dismantle. You can use it on structural steel, non-ferrous metals, cast iron and plastics.
The drill bit is made of HSS high-speed steel and complies with the DIN1869 standard for long drill bits. The point ground at a 130° angle centres itself on the surface, so the drill bit does not wander sideways at the start of drilling even on harder materials. The gold surface reduces friction, dissipates heat better and extends the life of the cutting edge.
