Tvardy Long Metal Drill Bit 12x375mm HSS DIN1869, Gold
The Tvardy long metal drill bit with a diameter of 12 mm and a total length of 375 mm is intended for deep holes and penetrations that you simply cannot drill with an ordinary drill bit. It comes in useful when drilling through thicker profiles, when assembling structures and also when you need to reach a spot the machine cannot get close enough to.
It is made of HSS high-speed steel, the point is ground at an angle of 130°, thanks to which the drill bit centres well and does not skate when started — with such a length this is essential for the accuracy of the hole. The gold surface finish reduces friction and increases resistance to abrasion and heat. The design complies with the DIN 1869 standard and is suitable for steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals and plastics.
