Tvardy Long Metal Drill Bit 7,0x290mm HSS DIN1869, Gold
The Tvardy long metal drill bit with a diameter of 7,0 mm and an overall length of 290 mm solves situations where a standard drill bit simply cannot reach the drilling spot — through a deep profile, a frame, or into a hole that has to pass right across the whole workpiece. The 200 mm working length makes it possible to drill really deep holes in a single pass.
The drill bit is made of HSS high-speed steel and complies with the DIN 1869 standard. The point ground at a 130° angle centres itself, so it does not slide across the surface when you start drilling, which you will appreciate especially on harder structural steel. The gold surface finish reduces friction and increases resistance to high temperatures, so the drill bit stays sharp for longer. It handles steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals and plastics.
