This set of self-centering drills is designed for drilling holes for countersunk head mounting screws. It can also drill a hole for screws and countersink it. A countersink can be mounted on the drill using an adjustment screw, which you set to the optimal drill bit height. Since it is not permanently attached, the drill bit can be replaced when it becomes blunt.
