Spiral Earth Auger Bit 250x800mm Shaft 20mm
The auger bit with a diameter of 250 mm is one of the large sizes and is used for smaller-scale foundation work, concrete footings under load-bearing posts or planting larger trees and shrubs with a bulky root ball. A single pass replaces several tens of minutes of work with a spade.
The spiral made of two-millimetre sheet and the hardened steel body withstand the high stress that arises at such a diameter, especially in compacted clay. The 20 mm diameter mounting shaft fits petrol earth augers with sufficient power; when working, it pays to proceed slowly and pull the auger out regularly to clear it of soil.
