Spiral Earth Auger Bit 300x800mm Shaft 20mm
The largest auger bit in the range, with a diameter of 300 mm, is designed for demanding excavation work where wide holes need to be prepared for footings, large posts or planting trees with a large root ball. Work that would take hours by hand is reduced to a few minutes with it.
Given the large cutting area, it requires a more powerful petrol auger and a firm grip on the machine, ideally with two people. The hardened steel body and the spiral made of 2 mm thick sheet are designed for the high torque acting at this diameter. The mounting on a 20 mm diameter shaft corresponds to the common standard of petrol earth augers.
