Automatic Transfer Switch ATS for a Generator
The automatic transfer switch is a control system that ensures the starting of a generator during a mains power outage and the automatic switching over of the energy source. Thanks to this, continuous operation of the electrical installation is guaranteed without the need for manual intervention by the operator. It is a solution for houses, companies and also farms, where a power cut is unpleasant or risky.
During a mains outage the system automatically starts the generator, while controlling the starter as well as the fuel supply. Once the required voltage parameters are reached it switches the load over to the generator. After the mains supply is restored it switches the installation over again and shuts down the generator, which brings comfort as well as safety. The control panel contains operating state indicator lights, a control button, a manual mode, a fuse and also installation terminals. In the package there is a five-pin control cable, cable glands, a mounting set and keys.
