Dust Shroud for Angle Grinder 115–125 mm
The dust shroud is designed for dust extraction when grinding and polishing concrete and other mineral surfaces. When used in combination with an industrial vacuum cleaner, it significantly reduces dust formation at the workplace, improves visibility, and enhances operator safety. The shroud is mounted on the body of the angle grinder and encloses the work area around the diamond disc. The resulting dust is immediately extracted through the connection adapter, so it settles less on tools, machines, and the surrounding area. Universal applicationThe shroud is suitable for most angle grinders with a disc diameter of 115–125 mm. Thanks to the adjustable mounting system, it can be adapted to grinders with a flange up to 51 mm, allowing its use with a wide range of common machines on building sites or in workshops. Safer and more comfortable work. The enclosure of the work area and the integration of extraction significantly limits the dispersion of dust and flying particles. The operator is better protected against minor shards, and breathing comfort is also improved. It reduces the risk of the disc kicking back and contributes to adhering to safety principles during work. The design of the shroud allows for smooth guidance of the grinder over the surface. Guidance and the ability to precisely adjust the working angle make it easier to achieve even engagement and a quality surface finish. This is especially important when final leveling and cleaning of concrete surfaces. The attachment of the shroud is resolved through a clamping ring with a wing screw. Assembly and adjustment are quick, without the need for wrenches or other special tools. Stabilizing elements ensure firm attachment even under intense loads. The shroud is made from durable technical plastic, resistant to vibrations, impacts, and elevated temperatures during prolonged use. Smooth surfaces make cleaning easier – a mild soap solution and regular removal of accumulated dust are sufficient. The construction doesn't require lubrication or special maintenance.
