Ceramic Barrel 5l Brown
The ceramic barrel with a capacity of 5 litres is a traditional vessel for fermenting vegetables and storing food in the household. The thick walls of fired ceramic keep the temperature of the contents even and keep light out, which helps to preserve the taste and the quality of your supplies. The brown glaze covers the inner as well as the outer wall, is safe for health and does not allow the material to absorb moisture. The shape of the barrel is stable and durable.
You will appreciate the barrel when preparing sauerkraut and fermented cucumbers, but it will also serve for lard or dry foods. In the pantry or the cellar it will last for whole decades and in the kitchen it acts as an attractive accessory. It is washed with lukewarm water, without rough sponges and aggressive chemicals.
