Ceramic Pot 5l Airtight Brown


The ceramic pot with a capacity of 5 litres and an airtight closure is intended for fermenting vegetables and for the long-term storage of food. The tight seal limits the access of air, so the fermentation proceeds in a controlled way and the contents do not take on odours from their surroundings. The thick-walled ceramic keeps the temperature stable and protects the contents from light. The brown glaze is safe for health and resistant to the acidic environment of the brine.

The pot suits cabbage, cucumbers and other fermented vegetables, but it will also serve for storing lard or dry supplies. You will appreciate the larger capacity when preparing supplies for the whole winter. Wash the vessel with lukewarm water and avoid sudden changes of temperature.
