Set of 10 Lids for Preserving Jars Diameter 100mm Enamelled
The set of ten enamelled lids with a diameter of 100 mm is intended for preserving jars with a wide twist-off neck. The enamelled surface is resistant to scratching, copes well with sterilisation and does not corrode as quickly as ordinary sheet metal. The inner sealing layer ensures an airtight closure and the preservation of the vacuum after processing. A package of ten pieces is enough to top up the missing lids for a whole series of jars.
You will use the lids when preserving compotes, vegetables and meat products as well as when filling honey into larger jars. Before use rinse them with hot water and fit them onto a dry rim of the neck. After opening a jar check the lid and if the seal is damaged replace it with a new one.
