Set of 10 Lids for Preserving Jars Diameter 89mm 6-Lug Enamelled
The set of ten enamelled lids with a diameter of 89 mm and a six-lug thread is a replacement closure for common preserving jars. The six lugs ensure an even pressure along the whole rim of the neck and a quick closing with a short turn. The enamelled surface resists moisture as well as repeated sterilisation and keeps its smooth look. The inner seal protects the contents from the access of air and extends the shelf life of the preserves.
The lids suit compotes, vegetables in brine, jams and homemade sauces filled while hot. Fit them onto a clean and dry neck and tighten them so that the lugs engage along the whole rim. A package of ten pieces is practical for gradually topping up worn lids in the pantry.
