The Plancha cast iron griddle plate measuring 39.7 × 36 cm brings the Spanish style of grilling to your grill. The smooth cast iron surface used instead of a grate ensures even heat distribution and at the same time catches juices and fat, which makes it ideal for meat, vegetables, fish and small ingredients that would fall through a grate.Before first use, wash the protective vegetable oil off the plate with hot water and a neutral detergent, dry it, rub it with fat or bacon and heat it through thoroughly. After each use, wash the plate with warm soapy water, dry it and rub it with fat to prevent corrosion. It heats up strongly during use – we recommend heat-resistant gloves.
