Diamond honing rod for knives 30cm
A honing rod is not a sharpener in the true sense – you do not sharpen a knife on it from scratch, but you straighten and hone the edge that has bent while cutting. It is precisely that which has to be done regularly so that the knife stays sharp longer.
A diamond surface is more effective than smooth steel: the edge is adjusted faster and more evenly, and that without the risk of removing too much material from the blade. The honing part length of 30 cm handles even long chef's knives – a shorter honing rod does not reach along the whole blade with them. The core is made of stainless steel, so it does not corrode, and the non-slip PP handle holds safely even during faster movements. The honing rod can be hung on a hook by the worktop.
