Wheel Hub Cleaning Disc 150mm
The replacement grinding disc with an outer diameter of 150 mm and an inner bore of 90 mm is used for cleaning the mounting surfaces of wheel hubs. It removes rust, remains of old paint and dirt that build up on the contact surface during operation.
A perfectly clean mounting surface is a precondition for the wheel disc to sit straight and evenly. This prevents wheel runout, steering wheel vibration and the disc later rusting to the hubs. The disc is a consumable, so it is worth keeping a spare piece both at the tyre service and in the home workshop.
