Fitter's hammer 1000g with fibreglass handle
The fitter's hammer with a steel head has a blackened surface finish that protects it against corrosion and gives it a dark, workshop-plain look. The head is firmly fitted on a handle made of glass-fibre reinforced plastic, which withstands rough handling and, unlike wood, does not crack or dry out.
The kilogram head is intended for the most demanding blows – breaking, straightening thick material, and working with chisels and centre punches, where real force is needed. The fibreglass handle also dampens recoil, so your hand tires later and the blows stay accurate even after prolonged work.
