Cylinder Hone Head 32-89mm
The hone head is designed for cylinders with a diameter from 32 to 89 mm and is mounted in a standard drill. Three abrasive stones press against the cylinder wall during operation and create a regular cross-hatch pattern on it, which retains the oil film and lets new piston rings bed in properly.
The head is fitted with a flexible shaft that ensures correct seating in the bore and even material removal along the entire length of the cylinder. The pressure of the stones against the wall can be continuously adjusted, so you can tailor the removal rate to the material and degree of wear. It is used for repairing engines, brake, and hydraulic cylinders.
