Cylinder honing head 19-63mm
The honing head with a working range of 19 to 63 mm smooths the inner surface of a cylinder and creates a cross-hatch pattern on it, which holds the oil film. It is used before replacing piston rings, when removing light scratches and when restoring the surface after a longer run-in.
Three spring arms with honing stones of 28 × 6 mm adapt themselves to the diameter of the bore and press evenly around the whole circumference. The head is clamped into a common drill or screwdriver, so you work with it right in the workshop without a special machine. It will find use on the cylinders of combustion engines, on hydraulic cylinders and also on further parts that need precise smoothing.
