Ball Valve 1" DN25 with Union Nut and Butterfly Handle
A ball valve is used to quickly shut off the flow of water or heating medium and at the same time makes it possible to disconnect a specific section of pipe without draining the whole system. The ball mechanism shuts off the flow with a single 90° turn and in the open position leaves the full bore, so it does not restrict the flow in any way.
The detachable union fitting with a union nut is what turns an ordinary valve into a service component — when replacing a pump, filter or water meter, you can disconnect the joint with a spanner in a few seconds. The gland allows you to fine-tune the tightness of the stem, the brass body resists corrosion, and the flat butterfly handle takes up minimal space even in a cramped shaft. With its 1" thread, it suits water supply, heating and utility pipework.
