Hose Coupling 2" with Female Thread
The female threaded coupling connects a hose to a fixed end of a line, such as a pump outlet, a ball valve or metal pipework. It is a basic component of every water transfer and irrigation setup, allowing quick assembly and later dismantling without damaging the hose.
The 2 inch size is designed for higher flow rates, such as those found with engine-driven and sludge pumps, when pumping out flooded areas or when irrigating larger areas. The hose is pushed onto the coupling and secured with a hose clamp, creating a tight and mechanically robust joint.
