Ball Valve 1" DN25 with Packing Gland, Female/Male Thread
A ball valve is used to shut off the flow quickly and reliably in water, heating and utility piping. A quarter turn of the lever stops the flow completely, so when repairing a tap or replacing a radiator you don't have to drain the whole installation or look for the main shut-off valve.
The body is made of brass and the ball mechanism has a full bore, so in the open position the valve barely restricts the flow and does not increase pressure losses. The packing gland allows the pressure on the stem seal to be readjusted right during operation, which extends the valve's service life and reduces the risk of leaks after years of use. The combination of female and male 1" threads makes it easy to connect to existing piping without additional reducers.
