Stillson Adjustable Pipe Wrench 36"
The Stillson-type pipe wrench is a classic plumbing tool for gripping and turning pipes, fittings and round profiles that cannot be held with a standard spanner. The serrated jaws bite into the material under load, so the grip on the pipe increases with the force applied and the tool does not slip.
The 36 inch size means a very long handle that delivers enormous torque and is designed for thick pipes and seized old joints in heating and water pipework. The jaw opening is continuously adjusted with a knurled nut to suit the diameter of the pipe you are working on.
